The Immigrant Justice Team is hosting a Know Your Rights training designed to empower allies with the knowledge and tools to support Champaign-Urbana’s immigrant communities on Saturday, June 14th from 9-10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall at UUCUC. This training will cover important topics like:

Interactions with ICE and law enforcement

Understanding warrants and search rights

Knowing your role as an ally and how to safely intervene

Resources and support networks available for immigrant communities and allies
